Application for Apprenticeship Program
For Future Students
To apply for the Harford County Electrical Apprenticeship program, complete the last page of this application packet.
Applications are taken on an on-going basis, but to be considered for the following school year beginning in the fall, applications must be received no later than May 31 of that year.
Member Contractor Application for Membership
For Prospective Member Contractors
To become a member of HCECA, complete this application and submit your $100 membership fee to our office. In order for our apprentices to receive OJT hours credited to them, you must be a member contractor.
Scholarship Application
For Prospective and Current Apprenticeship Students
To apply for scholarship funds for HCECA tuition and book costs, complete this application and submit to our office. Only complete applications will be considered.
For Current Apprenticeship Students
Job Change/Addendum
If you’ve changed employers, you must fill out a job change form and submit to our office, which can now be done electronically! As a registered apprentice, Maryland state requires that your current employer be on file to accurately log OJT hours.
Contact Information Change
If you have moved, changed your email, or changed your cell or home phone number, please complete a Contact Info Change form so we can update our records.
Tutoring Request
We offer tutoring at no extra cost to students needing a little help or extra time with a particular topic. Just complete the form and submit to the HCECA office.
FERPA Release
If you wish to grant permission for us to speak to a relative regarding anything pertaining to your education here at the Harford County Electrical Apprenticeship program a FERPA release form is required.
